Simone Muhammad, a native of St. Louis, MO, is a graduate of the Nutmeg Conservatory. She has attended prestigious summer programs including the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, American Ballet Theatre School, and the Alvin Ailey School. Simone has performed works by choreographers such as Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, David Morse, and Mark Diamond. Her repertoire includes supporting and ensemble roles in Swan Lake, Val Caniparoli’s The Nutcracker, George Balanchine’s Emeralds, and Jerome Robbins’ In G Major. In 2021, she received a Bronze Medal for her performance of The Dying Swan, coached by Charla Genn. Simone joined Cincinnati Ballet’s Second Company in 2022 and was promoted to the main company in 2023. Since then, she has been featured in works by Darrell Moultrie, David Morse, and Jodie Gates.
