Spring Production is the Otto M. Budig Academy’s season-culminating event. These performances highlight the talent and breadth of our student body as they bring their accomplishments from the studio to the stage.
Show Length: Approximately 45 minutes
These performances are a special celebration of our youngest dancers and their incredible growth throughout the season and, for many, signifies their first opportunity to take the stage. This year, our Children’s Division presents Fête de la Danse!, a festive celebration of the joy of dance and its unique ability to express the exuberance and creativity of the human spirit.

Show Length: Approximately 2 hours with intermission
This year’s production, Fête de la Danse!, is a vibrant celebration of dance and its unique ability to express the exuberance and creativity of the human spirit. The program opens with the Preparatory Division as Petits Festivaliers, performing to the lively music of Johann Strauss II, followed by the Young Dancer Division in a suite of excerpts from The Sleeping Beauty. The first act concludes with the Advanced Division in selections from Raymonda, showcasing the grand opulence and elegance of this seminal classical work. Spring Production also features selections from our YD and AD modern classes.
All Preparatory, Young Dancer and Advanced Division students perform in both shows.
The final event of Spring Production weekend is our 2026 Professional Training Division Showcase! Join us Sunday, May 17, for a stunning mixed bill including George Balanchine’s Valse Fantaisie.
