SECOND COMPANY – cb2

Cincinnati Ballet’s Second Company – CB2 consists of 14 up-and-coming dancers who have been invited to train with us for up to two years. CB2 dancers are afforded the opportunity of training and performing alongside our Main Company artists. Our CB2 dancers perform principal and soloist roles in our annual Family Series. These young, talented dancers also perform in community performances and events throughout the region. 

In recent years, CB2 alumni have been regularly invited to join Cincinnati Ballet’s Main Company. Many CB2 dancers have also transitioned to careers with professional companies around the world, including Alberta Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Alvin Ailey, Bayerisches Staatsballet, Dance Theater of Harlem, Kansas City Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, Royal New Zealand Ballet, Smuin Ballet, and West Australian Ballet.
