Beginning his ballet journey at the age of 9, Alejandro Olivera, started his education in the esteemed Cuban Ballet School where he graduated to become an integral part of the Cuban National Ballet. In 2021, he assumed the role of a Soloist at the Mikhailovsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia under the guidance of Nacho Duato.
Alejandro’s repertoire spans a diverse range of roles, including Bayadere, Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and more. In 2023, Alejandro began his first season with Cincinnati Ballet as a Principal dancer.
