Piper Panek began her training at Pittsburgh Ballet House and Taylor and Company at age 4. She studied all genres of dance and started concentrating in ballet and contemporary. At age 14, she trained and competed under Cynthia Castillo and Damien Martinez Coro at West Point Ballet in Coraopolis, PA. She performed many feature roles where she gained performance experience. Through the years, Piper has won first place awards in both classical and contemporary categories at YAGP, ADC/IBC, and UBC/IBC semi-finals. In 2023, she was selected to attend Grand Audition in Barcelona, Spain where she advanced to the Second Round. Following graduation, she joined BalletMet’s trainee program on a scholarship and performed in company performances while there. In 2024, she joined Cincinnati Ballet Academy as a trainee. During her year as a trainee, she danced in company productions and was promoted into the second company in 2025. In her second company season she preformed in Andonis Fondiakias New Works piece and in the quartet in Justin Peck’s Times are Racing. She was promoted at the end of her second company season to Apprentice and is now starting as a New Dancer for the 2026-2027 season.
