Daniel Gray is originally from Atlanta Georgia where he began dancing at the age of 8 at North Atlanta Dance Academy. At age 11 he began dancing at the Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education where he performed as Fritz in the 2018 world premiere of The Nutcracker by Yuri Possokhov and reprised the role the following year at the Kennedy Center with the company. He has also appeared in Coppélia, La Sylphide, and Giselle. In 2024 he was promoted to Atlanta Ballet 2 where he spent the next two years having multiple opportunities to perform with the company as well as second company specific shows. He has trained on full scholarship at summer programs with Sarasota Ballet, Houston Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, American Ballet Theatre in New York, and Atlanta Ballet. He is excited to continue growing and for the new opportunities that Cincinnati Ballet 2 will bring.
