Madeleine Lee is originally from Irvine, California, and began her formal ballet training in 2016 at V&T Classical Ballet Academy under the direction of Victor and Tatiana Kasatsky. She trained in the Vaganova method for nine years, developing a strong classical foundation. Madeleine also spent a year at Conservatório Internacional de Ballet e Dança in Leiria, Portugal, where she studied with internationally recognized ballet masters Yannick Boquin, Maina Gielgud, Martha Iris Fernandez, and Carlos Valcarcel.
An accomplished competitor, Madeleine has received numerous awards at Youth America Grand Prix from 2019 through 2025, including First Place in the Classical division in 2019, 2022, and 2025. In 2024, she earned Second Place in Classical Pas de Deux at YAGP Italy and was a finalist at the 2026 Helsinki International Ballet Competition.
Professionally, Madeleine performed with Kansas City Ballet’s Second Company before joining Cincinnati Ballet’s Second Company (CBII) in 2026, where she currently performs and continues her artistic development.
