Amaury Joel Zanete Perez was born on September 14, 2004, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. He began dancing at the age of 12. In 2019, he participated in the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) Semi-Finals, where he was awarded a full scholarship to the Balletschule Theater Basel in Switzerland, where he trained for three and a half years.
In 2023, during his graduation year, he competed in the Prix de Lausanne, which led to a contract with the Royal Swedish Ballet. From August 2023 to June 2026, he performed in works such as Manon, Romeo and Juliet by Kenneth MacMillan, Swan Lake by Rudolf Nureyev, Julia and Romeo by Mats Ek, Infra by Wayne McGregor, Le Corsaire, among others.
