Ethan Guthrie is originally from the small coastal town of Newport, North Carolina. He began his ballet training at the age of 12 with the Center of Performing Arts in Havelock, NC, where he studied for six years. He was then awarded a two-year male scholarship to train at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet (CPYB), where he continued to refine his technique and artistry. Ethan has performed in a range of classical story ballets, including Giselle, Cinderella, Swan Lake, and, most recently, Coppélia. He is passionate about the power of ballet not only as a visual art form but as a means of storytelling, connection, and deep emotional expression. For Ethan, dance is more than performance—it’s a calling. His passion for ballet is deeply intertwined with his faith, and he strives to glorify God through every movement. He believes in the transformative beauty of this art and hopes to share that beauty with the world, one step at a time.
