Nutsa Chekurashvili


Nutsa Chekurashvili is a Georgian ballet dancer, formerly a demi-soloist with the Hungarian National Ballet and a leading soloist with the State Ballet of Georgia under Nina Ananiashvili. She trained at the Vakhtang Chabukiani Ballet School and earned her degree with distinction from the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University. Chekurashvili has performed principal roles in GiselleSwan LakeDon QuixoteSleeping BeautyThe Nutcracker, and Romeo and Juliet, as well as works by Balanchine, Kylián, and Possokhov. She has appeared internationally at galas in Tokyo, Lisbon, Piacenza, and Tallinn, among others. Her accolades include the Grand Prix at the Riga Spring Ballet Competition and honors at competitions in Kiev and Beijing. Nutsa joined Cincinnati Ballet for the 2025-2026 Season.
