Cincinnati Ballet presents a sensory friendly version of Beauty and the Beast for people with sensory sensitivities. In our continuing mission to bring dance to every member of our city, sensory friendly performances accommodate children, families and adults who have found visiting the theater overwhelming due to their specific needs.
This season’s program showcases Cincinnati Ballet Second Company and students of the Otto M. Budig Academy in Beauty and the Beast. The adapted ballet runs less than one hour, features a narrated storyline, and fun interactive moments throughout.
Tickets for the Sensory-Friendly performance are only available via phone at 513-621-5282 or in person at the Cincinnati Ballet Box Office.
Download checklists, watch the video tour and more to help you and your family know what to expect at every step of your trip.
Who may attend & how to purchase
Cincinnati Ballet is working closely with community groups from all over the city to reach out to as many of our friends and neighbors with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Sensory Sensitivity as possible. Sensory friendly performances are a unique opportunity for people who otherwise might be unable to experience the magic of live ballet.
If you would believe this performance would be a fit for you and your family, but have not received information through one of our partnering community groups please contact the Cincinnati Ballet Box Office for more information at 513-621-5282.
