At Cincinnati Ballet, we truly believe that music is the lifeblood of dance, and we are proud to be one of the few ballet companies nationwide that still performs with a live orchestra. We know that live music inspires a special vitality that audiences can see in the energy of our dancers and can feel throughout the entire hall – from stage to pit to audience. The cost of that commitment is substantial and can only be met with the help of generous donors who value LIVE performance as much as we do here at Cincinnati Ballet.
Alyssa has enjoyed exploring diverse creative paths with a focus on audience inclusivity and engagement. She is the recipient of the 2024 New Music USA Creator Fund, the 2023 Solti Foundation Career Assistance Award, and the 2022 St. Botolph Emerging Artist Award.
