Children Learning Ballet at Aronoff Center

The Next Generation

Education is at the core of Cincinnati Ballet’s mission. Donations to Academy + Education can help provide scholarships to our Otto M. Budig Academy, specific program support to programs like CincyDance! and CB Moves, educational experiences in and out of the classroom, and much more. We strive to continue our mission by reaching into every neighborhood and community in Greater Cincinnati and beyond.

  • Otto M. Budig Academy Cincinnati Ballet’s Otto M. Budig Academy is the area’s preeminent classical ballet training program. With a mission to inspire excellence through the power of dance, we serve students and families throughout the greater Cincinnati area through pre-professional dance training and, unparalleled performance opportunities.
  • Choreographing Community Cincinnati Ballet is committed to telling your stories on our stages of all sizes. Join Cincinnati Ballet in this multifaceted initiative to tell community stories, amplify local talent, and empower choreographers of all ages and backgrounds. Be a part of the story! We are seeking your input. When you attend a community event over the next season, be sure to answer the questions. The themes that arise from your answers will inspire community story circles and conversations. Then join us at the Bold Moves Festival, as where you can watch the piece come to life in real time until its grand premiere at Fountain Square.
  • CincyDance! CincyDance! is Cincinnati Ballet’s cornerstone education program and is at the heart our mission to expand a love of dance across our community. Thousands of greater Cincinnati area students are introduced to dance through in-school residencies, ballet classes and scholarship opportunities to the Otto M. Budig Academy at Cincinnati Ballet.
  • CB Moves CB Moves is designed to foster a love of dance and creative expression for individuals with specific needs. Cincinnati Ballet is partnering with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Department of Physical Therapy to offer classes for children and young-adults with Down syndrome and Cerebral Palsy at Cincinnati Ballet studios. All classes are led by qualified Cincinnati Ballet faculty and are supported by experienced physical therapists.
