Rafael quenedit


Quenedit joins Cincinnati from the internationally acclaimed National Ballet of Cuba, where he rose swiftly to the rank of principal dancer. He began his ballet training in 2006 at Escuela Elemental de Ballet Alejo Carpentier and continued at the National Ballet School of Cuba, graduating in 2014. Quenedit was soon promoted from corps de ballet to principal, performing lead roles in Swan Lake, Don Quixote, Giselle, La Bayadère, and more. He has worked with distinguished choreographers such as Alicia Alonso, Alexei Ratmansky, and Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, and has toured extensively across Europe, North America, and Latin America. Among his many accolades are gold medals at international competitions in Havana and Cape Town, and the award for Best Artistic Performance at the XX International Ballet Competition in Havana.
