In 2014, Touchet was invited to perform at LUMENOCITY, on a balcony suspended on Cincinnati’s Music Hall. She almost declined the opportunity due to a terrible fear of heights, but thankfully was able to overcome her fears. “That, I think, was the most frightening thing I’ve ever done in my career,” she says.

Liu attended the Dance College of Shanghai Theater Academy before joining Cincinnati Ballet in 2011. She was promoted to Soloist for the 2015-2016 Season and to Principal in for the 2017-2018 Season. Liu was named one of the Top 25 Dancers to Watch in 2017 by Dance Magazine.
