Antonio Villegas is from Salem, Oregon, and began his ballet training to improve his soccer footwork. At the American Ballet Academy, where his initial training took place, Antonio discovered his passion for dance. He has performed roles in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Wizard of Oz, and The Nutcracker. In the summer of 2023, Antonio attended the Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Summer Course, where he was invited to stay for the year as part of their Professional Division program. At PNB, he focused on refining his technique while also performing with the company. Antonio has appeared in productions such as The Nutcracker, Stravinsky Violin Concerto, Prodigal Son, Swan Lake, Coppélia, The Sleeping Beauty, Harold and the Purple Crayon, Square Dance, Beauty and the Beast, and The Four Temperaments. He now joins Cincinnati Ballet II and is excited to contribute to the company while continuing to grow and develop as an artist.
