While weekends offer much-needed rest from the “intensity” of Summer and Collegiate Intensive, they also offer an opportunity to explore Cincinnati with new friends. As such, Cincinnati Ballet’s Summer Resident Program offers several weekend activities and trips to explore your summer home. Weekend excursions are optional but encouraged, as they offer a break from the rigors of classes and the chance to explore the rich cultural landscape of the region. Take a step back in time as you embark on a journey through Cincinnati’s vibrant history! This private, guided tour takes you through the streets of one of Cincinnati’s most historic and popular neighborhoods and descends into hidden crypts, tunnels and under city streets as you explore Cincinnati’s storied past.

Lions, tigers, bears and more await! The Cincinnati Zoo features more than 500 animal and 3,000 plant species, making it one of the largest zoo collections in the country, and was recently named the best zoo in the nation by USA Today! Participants will receive $10 in Zoo Bucks to be used at restaurants and stores throughout the park.

Cincinnati Museum Center is a one-of-a-kind, multi-museum complex housed in Union Terminal, a beautiful and historic Art Deco train station. Explore the Cincinnati History Museum, the Children’s Museum, and the Museum of Natural History and Science. Participants also have access to Barbie: A Cultural Icon, a special exhibition highlighting sixty-five years of fashion and inspiration behind the doll that became a global phenomenon.

Get ready for a hole-in-one adventure! Put your putting skills to the test at The Acres, an iconic mini golf course featuring two 18-hole courses. The beautifully landscaped courses offer a refined take on the classic game, designed to mirror the look and feel of a full-size golf course. Think rolling greens and natural obstacles all scaled down for fun, accessible play. Between courses enjoy catered snacks and elevated American classics.

Watch as the Orange and Blue battle it out on the pitch against Chicago Fire at TQL Stadium. FC Cincinnati has taken the city by storm as the city’s newest professional sports franchise. From the moment you arrive, you’re swept up in a wave of blue and orange, where passionate fans, pounding drums, and high-energy chants create an atmosphere unlike any other in Major League Soccer.

Will you beat the clock? Get ready for an exhilarating experience that tests your logic, teamwork, and creativity! At the Escape Game, participants dive into themed storylines and spaces where you and your group must solve puzzles, crack codes, and uncover hidden clues before time runs out. Following your escape, enjoy Smale Riverfront Park including a ride on the whimsical Carol Ann’s Carousel.

King’s Island, the largest amusement park and water park in the Midwest, features an incredible array of thrill rides including the longest inverted roller coaster and the longest wooden roller coaster in the world. If you’re looking to beat the heat, Soak City’s 36 water slides, tropical lagoons, rushing rivers, and surfable waves are sure to do the trick.

The Cincinnati Reds take on the Colorado Rockies in a mid-afternoon match up at Great American Ball Park located in the heart of downtown and on the banks of the Ohio River. Participants will receive $10 to use at concession stands throughout the ballpark.

Want to get up close with celebrated artists like Picasso, Van Gogh, and Warhol? Experience world-renowned collections and breathtaking exhibitions at the Cincinnati Art Museum. One of the oldest arts institutions in the United States, the Cincinnati Art Museum features a diverse, encyclopedic art collection of more than 73,000 works spanning 6,000 years.

Is there anything better than having ice cream in the summer? How about having ice cream while you cruise the mighty Ohio River on BB Riverboats! Featuring scenic views along the river, the Riverboat Captain will guide your afternoon with interesting commentary about Cincinnati and the surrounding area. The Cincinnati skyline offers the perfect backdrop for capturing memorable photos with new friends.

1) Register for a bundle and save with all activities (based on your session enrollment) at a discounted price.
2) Register for only the activities you choose.
For Option 2, you will need to add the initial $0 single ticket item to your cart and then individually select activity “add-ons” on the following page.
