Christina LaForgia Morse began dancing at age 11. She spent her high school years at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts under the leadership of Ethan Stiefel, where she was awarded the Dean’s Merit Scholarship. After graduating from UNCSA in 2010, Christina trained for an additional year at the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Graduate Program. In 2011, Christina was offered a Second Company position with Charlotte Ballet and was quickly promoted to join the main company the subsequent season. Following her time in Charlotte, Christina joined Cincinnati Ballet as a valued member of the corps de ballet from 2014 to 2024. Throughout her illustrious career, Christina has delighted audiences with performances in works by luminaries such as Alonzo King, George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, and Ohad Naharin, among others. Christina’s artistic journey also includes collaborating with esteemed choreographers like Dwight Rhoden, Amy Seiwert, and Jennifer Archibald while contributing to world premieres and shaping her repertoire with grace and skill.
With a wealth of performance, pedagogical, and mentorship experience, Christina embodies a passionate and dedicated leader in the dance world. She eagerly anticipates the opportunity to inspire and nurture the next generation of dancers.
