Cincinnati Ballet is committed to telling your stories on our stages of all sizes. Join Cincinnati Ballet in this multifaceted initiative to tell community stories, amplify local talent, and empower choreographers of all ages and backgrounds.
Be a part of the story! We are seeking your input. When you attend a community event over the next season, be sure to answer the questions. The themes that arise from your answers will inspire community story circles and conversations. Then join us at the Bold Moves Festival, as where you can watch the piece come to life in real time until its grand premiere at Fountain Square.
Introduce your students to the power of storytelling through movement with the Story Choreography Project. 5th and 6th grade students will spend a week with a Cincinnati Ballet teaching artist, creating a collaborative work of art that connects them to each other and the community. Select students will have the opportunity to present their work to the public at the Bold Moves Festival in Fountain Square. This free residency experience is available February-April to all 5th and 6th grade classrooms.
If you are interested in bringing this residency to your school, please fill out this interest form.
