ezra mcphie


Originally from Chandler, Arizona, Ezra Petunia McPhie began her ballet training at Ballet Etudes in Gilbert, Arizona, where she studied under Sharon Seder Meko and a distinguished faculty. At sixteen, she received a full scholarship to continue her training at The Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia under the direction of Peter Stark. She then progressed to the Joffrey Ballet’s Trainee Program in Chicago, further developing her technique and artistry. More recently, Ezra was a member of Milwaukee Ballet II for the 2024-2025 season under the direction of Mireille Favarel.

During her time with Milwaukee Ballet, Ezra performed in The NutcrackerSleeping Beauty, and MBII’s Momentum, and also had the opportunity to work on Kenneth Tindall’s Casanova and Mark Godden’s Carmen. Previous performance highlights include principal roles in NapoliCinderella, and Esmeralda with Joffrey Ballet Academy, as well as appearances in The Classic Nutcracker and various other works with The Rock School for Dance Education where she was able to graduate with a high school diploma from The Keystone School, online. Ezra has also had the opportunity to spend summer intensives with Milwaukee Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Ellison Ballet, where she was invited to join the pre-professional training program, and The Royal Ballet School. Ezra could not be more thrilled to continue her professional journey with Cincinnati Ballet.
