Born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia, Charlie began dancing with Roanoke Ballet Theatre under the direction of Rolando Sarabia Jr. and Sandra Meythaler at the age of eight. During his many years of training in Roanoke, Charlie attended summer intensives with Charlotte Ballet, The Washington Ballet, and Boston Ballet. In 2024 Charlie moved to Cary, North Carolina to continue his training under the direction of Mariaelena Ruiz at Cary Ballet Conservatory. During his year in Cary, he danced several lead roles and performed a wide range of classical and contemporary repertoire. In the spring of 2025, Charlie was a medalist at the ADC-IBC finals. Charlie is thrilled to be joining Cincinnati Ballet’s Second Company for the 2025-2026 season.
