Irene Rodríguez is a world-renowned choreographer and teacher of Spanish Dance and Flamenco with over 20 years of experience. She has taught Master Classes internationally at prestigious schools like Juilliard, FIU and USF, while also directing the Flamenco and Spanish Dance Program at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in the US. Her own Professional Academy of Spanish and Flamenco Dance was even chosen to be the representative for the Escuela de Flamenco de Andalucía in Cuba!
Irene’s works have won multiple international awards, critically acclaimed by publications such as The New York Times. She has produced pieces commissioned by Los Angeles Opera and her works have been performed by ballet companies both nationally and internationally such as Kansas City Ballet and National Company of Lyric Art of Cuba.
