Cincinnati Ballet proudly presents Prélude, a dynamic new initiative uniting the city’s most promising young dancers and musicians in a groundbreaking collaboration. Under the leadership of Yoshihisa Arai, Rehearsal Director and Second Company Director, this program nurtures emerging talent, fostering creativity and artistic excellence.
In partnership with the Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra, Prelude unites CSYO musicians and Cincinnati Ballet’s Second Company – CB2 dancers in the creation and performance of original works. Inspired by the legendary collaborations of Balanchine and Stravinsky, this initiative cultivates artistic synergy, deepens creative connections, and ignites a shared passion for performance.
A celebration of young artistry, Prelude marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter—where collaboration fuels creativity and Cincinnati’s next generation of artists takes center stage.
