Cincinnati Ballet’s Kids Dance Camp is a creative exploration of dance, music and art through beloved stories for students ages 4 – 8. Each week-long experience explores an overall theme through age-appropriate dance classes and activities led by professional faculty.

Each week-long dance experience runs Monday – Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Kids Dance Camp is Cincinnati Ballet’s signature summer dance experience for students ages 4 – 8. Through the integration of dance, visual art, choreography and music, young dancers embark on a multi-sensory tour of a story-based theme while delving into their own creativity. Introduction to ballet and creative movement allows students to build movement vocabulary, coordination, and strength while working toward a culminating performance for family and loved ones. Daily crafts take students beyond the studio to create costume pieces, dance props, and other accessories that inspire artistic expression and imagination.
Kids Dance Camp is open to students ages 4 – 8 based on their age as of the program start date. Following registration, students are divided into smaller groups by age. No formal dance experience or placement assessment is required.
All classes take place at the Margaret and Michael Valentine Center for Dance which is located at 1801 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati, OH.
$295 per week
(plus $25 registration fee)
