Cincinnati Ballet Welcomes back erina noda

May 21, 2025

We are very excited to welcome former Cincinnati Ballet dancer Erina Noda back to Cincinnati, this time as our new Rehearsal Director.

Erina dedicated the majority of her performing career to Cincinnati Ballet, where she performed numerous works by Septime Webre, Val Caniparoli, Victoria Morgan, and George Balanchine. Following her departure from Cincinnati Ballet, she performed as a leading soloist for the entirety of the 6.5-year run of the Las Vegas production of the Broadway musical “The Phantom of the Opera.” She had the privilege of collaborating with the original creators of the production, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Harold Prince, and Gillian Lynne.

Erina has also served as a faculty member at the Academy of Cincinnati Ballet and the School of Nevada Ballet Theatre, as well as numerous other arts organizations across the country. Notably, she held the position of artistic director for the annual benefit gala “Hope” in Las Vegas from 2008 to 2016, during which time she also performed as a principal dancer. Additionally, she served as an assistant choreographer to Peter Chu on “CONSTRUCTive SOUND,” a production that premiered with Cincinnati Ballet in May 2024. She is a stager for Septime Webre’s “The Wizard of OZ” and has collaborated with Nevada Ballet Theatre, Hong Kong Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre.

We’re so lucky to have her back in the studios. Welcome, Erina!
