Cincinnati Ballet’s Adult Weekend Intensive provides adult dancers with a specialized summer training experience within a community of supportive peers and artists. Cincinnati Ballet’s resident faculty and select guests lead participants through a deeper dive into dance technique while exploring other disciplines and dance-related topics. Over a full weekend of dance, participants begin each day with a ballet technique class before moving into instruction in modern, contemporary, skills workshops and more. The weekend program concludes with a reception celebration with fellow dancers and instructors.
Cincinnati Ballet’s Adult Weekend Intensive is an immersive experience for adult dancers who want to take a deeper dive into their technique while exploring the breadth of Cincinnati Ballet’s Adult Dance + Fitness offerings. Each day begins rooted in ballet class and moves into dance repertoire and classes in a diverse array of other dance disciplines. Conditioning and skills workshops are also essential elements of the program offering opportunity to break down technical elements more specifically than traditional class times allow. The Adult Weekend Intensive opens and closes with a reception on our event terrace for all participants and faculty.
