Cincinnati Ballet’s Summer Dance Workshop is a week-long summer dance experience for young dancers ages 8 – 11 with at least one year of formal ballet training. Through daily engagement in ballet technique, exposure to diverse dance disciplines and specialty workshops, students will deepen their love of dance while building essential skills in a fun and creative space.

Each week-long program runs Monday – Friday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Cincinnati Ballet’s Summer Dance Workshop offers young dancers the opportunity to explore their love of dance in a nurturing environment that cultivates student potential and invites creativity. Students will hone their foundational technique in daily ballet class while also gaining exposure to diverse dance disciplines. Additional arts and dance-related activities enhance creative expression and deepen students’ understanding of dance as an art form. The program’s curriculum is designed to develop student capacity and confidence as well as community with fellow dancers as they seek to progress in their dance training.
Summer Dance Workshop is open to students ages 8 – 11 (approximately) with at least one year of formal ballet training. Prospective students should complete the placement inquiry below (under the registration section) prior to registering.
All classes take place at the Margaret and Michael Valentine Center for Dance located at 1801 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati, OH.
$395 per week
Registration will open to the public on February 15, 2024. New students are invited to use the placement inquiry below to determine program placement.
