“The Journey of a Ballet Dancer” highlights the personal experiences, struggles, and triumphs of our dancers as they discuss what it truly means to move with grace through life’s dance. To start off this series and to celebrate Black History Month, we get up close and personal with five extraordinary ballet dancers: Lenai, Jhaelin, Amber, Salomé, Scott, and Simone, as they open our eyes to their experiences – both struggles and successes – within the world of ballet. In this video, these talented individuals share their stories of passion and determination while they talk about what it means to be a role model for the next generation of talented young dancers.
