Yu-Ting Huang began her career with the Taipei Royal Ballet in Taipei, Taiwan as a principal dancer in 2008. While there Huang received her High School diploma from the Taipei National University of the Arts – Affiliate High School. With Taipei Royal Ballet, Huang danced in performances such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Sylvia, and Don Quixote. Following her graduation, Huang began her undergraduate studies at University of Cincinnati – College Conservatory of Music working towards a BFA in Ballet Performance. With CCM, Huang has danced in La Nymphe Brisée, Swan Lake (Princess Odette), and IconoGlass. Huang has also competed in many competitions and brought home awards such as First Prize in the Taiwan National Ballet Competition, Junior Division (2014) and Senior Division (2016). This is Huang’s first season with Cincinnati Ballet.
