Daniel Wagner

Corps de Ballet | Monrovia, California | Joined Cincinnati Ballet in 2013

“I watched the movie An American in Paris and wanted to dance like Gene Kelly,” says Daniel Wagner. Originally from Monrovia, California, Wagner trained at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and The Houston Ballet Ben Stevenson Academy. Wagner admires dancer Leonide Saratanov, and Le Corsaire is his favorite ballet. If he could dance any ballet role, Wagner would choose the lead male in Le Jeunne Homme et La Mort. Wagner joined The Cincinnati Ballet Second Company in 2013 and was promoted to Apprentice in 2015. He competed in an international ballet competition in Beijing, China, this past July alongside other top dancers in the world. Wagner was promoted to Corps de Ballet for Cincinnati Ballet’s 2016-2017 Season.
