Connor Jones trained at Southland Ballet Academy in Huntington Beach, California, North Carolina Dance Theater, Charlotte City Ballet and North Carolina School of the Arts. She attended summer intensives at the National Ballet of Canada, School of American Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet and Houston Ballet before joining Cincinnati Ballet in 2006. In the summer of 2009 she traveled to Russia and performed the role of Giselle and other soloist/principal roles in several ballets. “Dancing in Russia for two and a half months changed my approach to dancing and strengthened my technique,” she says. In March 2012, after both female Principal Dancers at Cincinnati Ballet became injured, Connor Jones took the spotlight and performed the lead female role in Rite of Spring. Jones was promoted to Soloist in 2013 and then to Senior Soloist in 2015.
