Dance-Inspired Workouts to Make the Best “YOU” in 2019

Looking for new ways to meet your fitness goals for the year ahead?  Consider taking a class with Cincinnati Ballet Dance and Fitness.

Development Newsletter_Jan 5Developed and taught by former Company dancer, Courtney Hellebuyck, Cincinnati Ballet Dance and Fitness provides a variety of dance-inspired workouts to help make you the best “you” you can be.  Included are classes in ballet and a unique barre-inspired cardio program that helps to build strength, grace, flexibility, and tone.  Adults 18+ of all fitness levels are invited to join or try these drop-in classes, held at Cincinnati Ballet’s downtown center.

Overview of classes:

Ballet BasicsAn introductory class – This is a perfect introduction to an adult class that will help to strengthen your mind, body, and spirit.  You’ll start the morning with ballet barre, floor stretches, simple movement and breath work, helping you with flexibility, strengthening, balance and grace.  If you’re new to ballet or it’s been years since you were in a studio, this is the perfect class for you!

Adult Intermediate BalletFor students with a working knowledge of ballet – If you already have an understanding of ballet technique but aren’t looking for a fast-paced advanced class, this is the class for you!  It is taught in a manner that adjusts to the students who take it, so a broad range of ability and experience is welcome.

Body DefinedOpen to all levels – This class is a unique blend of body sculpting, barre, circuit training and cardio.  It is designed to build lean strength and muscle definition for students of all levels.  It is inspired by the lean physique of the ballet body, designed to tone arms and upper body, shape legs, firm seats and sculpt abs.
