On Thursday, January 12, dancers of Cincinnati Ballet join the MusicNOW festival for the first time! Cincinnati Ballet Soloist and emerging choreographer James Cunningham will premiere his latest work, a duet choreographed and performed to Bryce Dessner’s “Garcia Counterpoint”. Dessner, founder of MusicNOW and member of The National, will accompany Cincinnati Ballet dancers Sirui Liu and Luca De-Poli live for this brief performance, directly preceding a special concert by Bob Weir and the Campfire Band. Artists of Cincinnati Ballet and the Second Company will also participate in a MusicNOW youth performances at Memorial Hall on January 13.
