Megan Carnuche is from New Castle, Pennsylvania where she received her training at New Castle Regional Ballet and the Ballet Academy of Pittsburgh. She has attended summer intensives at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and the American Ballet Theatre in New York City. She also studied on scholarship as an apprentice with Charlotte Ballet at the Chautauqua Institution and as a Trainee with Carolina Ballet. At the Chautauqua Institution, she was chosen by Patricia McBride to perform in George Balanchine’s Rubies. In 2020, Megan graduated from Mercyhurst University with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Arts Administration. While at Mercyhurst, Megan performed as Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, and Giselle in Giselle. She was also chosen by Nilas Martins to perform in George Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco. Megan is honored and excited to be joining Cincinnati Ballet’s Secnd Company this season.
