CB2 Dancer

Madeline Halkos


Madeline is from Atlanta, Georgia and discovered her passion for ballet at the early age of three. She trained at Atlanta Ballet as a pre-professional student under the direction of John McFall and Sharon Story. During her time at the Atlanta Ballet, she performed in many productions including Twyla Tharp’s Princess and the Goblin, McFall’s Nutcracker, and Young Aurora in Sleeping Beauty. Madeline continued her training at Terminus Ballet Theater in Atlanta. She completed her professional training at English National Ballet School in London under the direction of Viviana Durante. During her three years at the school, she performed lead roles in August Bournonville’s Ponte Molle and La Sylphide, coached by Peter Schaufuss, George Balanchine’s Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux, excerpts from English National Ballet’s Swan Lake, and worked with stagers from the Pina Bausch Foundation. She graduated from English National Ballet School with a Diploma in Professional Dance, awarded by Trinity College in England. 

Madeline has attended summer intensives with Atlanta Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet, Houston Ballet, Royal Ballet, and San Francisco Ballet. Madeline is thrilled to join Cincinnati Ballet as a Second Company!
