Hailey Flanagan began her ballet training at age 5 at Georgia Metropolitan Dance Theatre in Marietta, Georgia. There, she trained closely with Kathryn McBeth and Marina Levasheva and danced numerous roles such as Odile from Swan Lake, Swanhilda from Coppelia, as well as in works by choreographer Tom Pazik.
Hailey first came to Cincinnati Ballet in 2016 for its summer intensive program where she quickly fell in love with the Company. Hailey spent four consecutive summers training with Cincinnati Ballet on scholarship. In 2019, Hailey was accepted into the Professional Training Division and over the past two years has performed in Septime Webre’s Wizard of Oz, the lead in David Morse’s Concerto Grosso, Winter in Victoria Morgan’s Cinderella, and the pas de trois from Swan Lake. She was offered a contract with Cincinnati Ballet’s Second Company for the 2021-2022 Season and is thrilled to continue her journey with Cincinnati Ballet.
