Audio Description Services
Cincinnati Ballet hires VSA of Ohio, the State Organization on Arts and Disability, to provide their services to those with impaired sight during specific performances. Please contact the Cincinnati Ballet Patron Engagement Office for information on when services will be available.
For our more family-friendly story ballets, we recommend that children be at least two years of age and capable of sitting happily and quietly through a two-hour performance. Although rare, sometimes a parent may be asked to step into the lobby if a child is disrupting the performance or bothering other patrons. The lobby includes monitors of the performance so you can continue to follow the ballet without worrying about bothering other patrons. We ask for your understanding and respect for the performers and your fellow patrons.
Infants or children under two years of age may be purchased a “lap ticket” for $10. However, they must remain in the lap of an adult for the duration of the performance. Children over two years of age must purchase a regular priced ticket to attend a performance. Every person entering the theater must have a ticket. Children will not be permitted into the auditorium without a ticket.

Exchanges, Refunds and Tax Deductible Donations
Cincinnati Ballet has a no refund policy. Subscribers may exchange their tickets for another date within the series free of charge. Single ticket buyers may exchange their tickets for another date within the series for an additional charge of $5.50 per ticket. Due to dynamic pricing (see above), if the price for the performance you are exchanging into is higher than what you originally paid, you will be charged the difference. Tickets may be exchanged in person or by phone at the Cincinnati Ballet Patron Engagement Office. You may also donate your tickets and receive a tax deduction. To receive credit for a charitable contribution, tickets must be returned to the Cincinnati Ballet Patron Engagement Office 24 hours prior to the performance. Tickets can only be exchanged prior to the performance. After the performance there will not be any exchanges.
Help! I lost my tickets!
Don’t worry if you have misplaced your tickets! Your seat location is on file. Simply call Cincinnati Ballet Patron Engagement Office 513-621-5282 and we will be happy to issue a reprint of your tickets. All reprinted tickets will be held at Will Call at the venue.
I’m late for the show!
With traffic and parking, we understand timing may be an issue. We suggest you leave ample time for potential detours and other difficulties. To protect the safety of patrons and performers, a patron arriving after a performance begins will be seated at an appropriate pause in the production if possible. This policy varies for different shows, and is at the discretion of the venue and the ushers. Late patrons may still enjoy the performance on the monitors in the lobby until they are able to be seated. There are no exceptions to the House Manager’s late seating policy.
What to Wear
We suggest comfortable, business casual attire when attending the ballet. However, if the evening is a special occasion, we encourage you to make the most of it!

Single tickets will never go below subscription prices and will most likely increase over time as inventory decreases. Patrons who purchase tickets early are more likely to get the best pricing. Patrons who purchase a subscription will receive the best pricing, guaranteed.
