Ms. Louis went on to Mercyhurst University as a dance major under the direction of Tauna Hunter. In May 2007, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a concentration in Pedagogy and Choreography and a minor in Arts Administration. While studying at Mercyhurst University, Ms. Louis performed with the Lake Erie Ballet and SoMar Danceworks. Following graduation, Ms. Louis danced professionally for five seasons with the Radio City Christmas Spectacular as one of the world-famous Radio City Rockettes. As part of the “Christmas Across America” company, she had the opportunity to tour all over the United States and Canada. Following her professional dance career, Ms. Louis turned her focus to her passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of dancers. She has taught for several organizations including Ballet Theatre Midwest, Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati, Clifton Cultural Arts Center, and Cincinnati Ballet.
